OnePieceGuide

Privacy Policy

Effective: May 2, 2026

This policy explains what information OnePieceGuide collects when you visit the site, how it's used, and what choices you have.

The short version

OnePieceGuide does not have user accounts, comments, or any feature that asks for your personal information. The only thing the site collects is anonymous traffic data through Google Analytics — page views, what kind of device you're on, and where you came from — so I can see which guides are useful and which need work. That's it.

What is collected

When you visit any page on onepieceguide.com, Google Analytics 4 records:

  • Anonymous traffic data: the page you viewed, time on page, and scroll depth.
  • Technical data: browser type, operating system, screen size, and approximate location (country and city, derived from IP — no precise location).
  • Referrer data: the website or search engine that sent you here.
  • Anonymized IP: Google Analytics 4 anonymizes IP addresses by default before storing them.

All of this is aggregated. I cannot see who you personally are, and I have no way to link traffic data back to a specific individual.

What is not collected

  • No name, email, or contact information (the site has no forms, accounts, or comments).
  • No payment information (the site does not sell anything).
  • No precise location.
  • No tracking across other websites.

Cookies

Google Analytics 4 uses cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These are first-party cookies that contain a randomly generated identifier — not your personal information.

If you'd rather not be counted, you can:

  • Block cookies in your browser settings.
  • Install Google's official opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Use a privacy-focused browser like Brave or Firefox with tracking protection enabled.

The site works exactly the same whether you're being counted or not.

Third parties

The only third party with access to traffic data is Google, the operator of Google Analytics. Their privacy policy applies to data they receive: policies.google.com/privacy.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which receives standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for delivery and security purposes. Vercel's privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

No other third parties receive data from this site.

Data retention

Google Analytics retains user-level data for 14 months by default, and I have not extended this. Aggregate reporting data — like “how many people viewed /filler-list this month” — is retained indefinitely because it's not personally identifiable.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under regulations such as the GDPR (European Union, UK), the CCPA / CPRA (California), or other regional privacy laws. Because this site does not collect personally identifiable information directly, there is no individual record to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions or want to confirm this for yourself, contact me at the email below.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect any data that would identify a child.

Changes to this policy

If the site adds features that change what data is collected — such as a comment system or an account login — this policy will be updated and the effective date at the top will be revised.
